New Chalcone-Based Photo-alignment materials with Sufficient Pretilt Angle

摘要

We showed that photo-alignment materials based on copolymers of a chalcone-based polymer and 4-cetyloxystyrene (CeS) generated reasonably large pretilt angle ( theta p). Effect of the CeS content, the LC type, and the LPUV-exposure condition was studied.
