摘要

A development driving simulator is an essential equipment to research "driver/vehicle/environment" closed-loop system for improving vehicle kinematics performance and active safety. Motion sensation is an importatn factor for a driver to judgment vehicles kinematics performance. So motion simulation fidelity is directly related to practicality of the simulator. The simulator motion system can't duplicate the motions of a real vehicle, it become necessary to determine the best way to utilize its limited capabilities. This determination takes the form of mathematical models predicting human specific force and angular velocity sensation in response to translation and rotational motion. The washout algorithm is the core of the mathematical model. In classical washout algorithm, the parameters of the filter is constant, it don't meet the request of vehicle motion simualtion because of the change of vehicle motion is very quick and frequent. Coordination adaptive washout algorithm is adopted in this paper. The intent of the algorithm is to adapt the severity of the simulator washout filters according to the current state of the simulator. In this way it should be possible to make full use of the simulator's system at all times.
