Ceneralized Equivalent Mobility is proposed to characterize the dynamic coupling behavior between substructures and subsystems consisting of several substructures in the overall system. On this based, a powe flow progressive approach is developed to predict the transmitted power flows between any interfaces of the assembly system and into the substructure of interest. The developed method can greatly reduce the complexity of the power flow analysis for complex dynamic coupled systems. It is applicable to a very large class of dynamical coupling systems with elastic and / or rigid substructures subject to multiple excitations in engineering. To demonstrate the applications of the method, a complicated coupling vibration isolation system with stiffened plate-like foundation subject to multiple excitations is investigated. The power flow transmission behaviors of this coupled system are obtained and discussed.
