摘要

The estimation of the stregnth of the heat source in a nuclear reactor plate-type fuel element with Alifanov's iterative regularisation method is presented. The coupling between the fuel and the cladding is modelled by heat convection through a gap. The inverse problem is solved as an infinite dimensional optmization problem with the conjugate gradient method. An adjoint problem is solved at each step of the iterative procedure in order to determine the gradient. Methodology and test case results are presented.
