A Mathematical Method for the Determination of Absolute Adsorption from Experimental Isotherms of Supercritical Gases

摘要

A mathematical method was proposed for the detennination of absolute adsorption from experimental isothenns.It is based on the numerical equality of the absolute and the excess adsorption when either the gas phase density or the amount adsorbed has not been quite considerable.Either the volume or the density of the supercritical adsorbate could be detennined by a non-empirical way after fonnulating the absolute adsorption.
