In Situ Chemical Oxidation for Site Remediation Contaminated by Gasoline-Fuel Mixture

Background/Objectives. Nowadays, environmental preservation is a major issue. Before this awareness, many pollutants were rejected into the natural reservoir. Most of them are hydrocarbons. They are known for theirs accrues persistence and toxicity. Efficiencies methods implementations are essential. Hydrocarbons treatment poses technical and economics problems. In fact, classical methods require contaminated soils excavation and hydrocarbons layer pumping, necessitate a high depollution cost. The studied site show a soil and groundwater pollution by a gasoline-fuel mixture on an area of 25×45 m.
