Fast Design of Precise Equiripple Notch FIR Filters

A fast analytical design procedure for equiripple notch FIR filters with precise notch frequency is introduced. The presented design procedure is based on the analytical design of notch FIR filter with quantized notch frequency. The closed form solution provides straightforward evaluation of the impulse response coefficients of the filter. One example demonstrates the efficiency of the presented approach.
