In this paper, the ignition of wheat dust-air mixture by means of an electric energy discharge was studied to determine the reactive mechanism of wheat dust air mixture. The results indicated that the gaseous phase play a substantial role in the ignition process, and minimum ignition energy appears within the region of considerably enriched wheat-air mixtures.
