According to the assembly process features of an aero-engine bearing used on turbine support, experiments were carried out to investigate the rotor-bearing system vibration features varied with the inner and outer ring fit parameters and lock nuts tightening torques. Some assembly process criterion of this bearing were presented based on the test data. The results showed that, when the state of the inner or outer ring fit was clearance, strongly nonlinear oscillations appeared on the rotor-bearing system. There were some positive effects on the suppression of nonlinear oscillations by increasing the lock nuts tightening torque, but the intensity of nonlinear oscillations was still strong. Therefore, during the design stage of aero-engine, the selection of the inner and outer ring fit parameters should be combined with the aero-engine operating mode, in order to make sure that the inner and outer ring fit would not be clearance under all operating conditions. The experimental results had been applied to an aero-engine.
