METHODS OF ACTIVATION OF BORON PARTICLES IGNITION AND COMBUSTION

摘要

Some methods of activation of boron particles ignition are considered. One method includes formation of various complex boron-titanium particles, while another concept is based on the formation of a layer of solid oxidizer on the surface of the boron particles. The methods developed have revealed a noticeable improvement of the ignition process of activated boron particles in comparison to regular boron particles.
