MULTI-OBJECTIVE MODEL AND CONTROLLER REDUCTION

In this paper we develop a multi-objective model and controller reduction technique. Starting from the LMI formulation of the multi-objective control, it is possible to perform model and controller truncation within the closed-loop. The problem is motivated using energy functions and related to coprime factorisations. Error bounds are obtained using the notion of multiplicative reduction. Examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
