This Paper introduces radar imaging experiment of ground moving target, Le. light rail-way train, by using two-channel Ku-band radar system. Both coherent imaging and incoherent imaging were conducted and very clear radar amplitude images and interferometric phase images were obtained. Along-track interferometric phase images indicate clearly that the train moves at increasing speed in one direction and decreasing speed in contrary direction. Electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the train are analyzed according to SAR images. The estimated moving speed and the train length are very well agreed with real situation.
