The paper presents a computer program to avaluate the internal forces in the wall of circular concrete manure tanks due to temperature effects and external loads such as liquid, soil, ice and machinery pressures. Based on the theory of beam on elastic foundation, equations were implemented into a computer program to analyze long or short tanks, with different base restraints, for any level of liquid, soils, temperature or ice. The input data are: liquid level, soil level, wall temperatures, ice pressure and ice cap position, height and thickness of the wall and the Young's modulus of the wall material. The results are: the normal force and bending moment distribution in the wall. With these data, the designer can evaluate the reinforcing area and wall construction details.
