At DaimlerChrysler AG,the greatest parti fo the software in use in electronic contorl units in automaotive systms is provided by the suppliers,Ass the funcitonallity and ocmplexity of the software in vautomatie systems increases,the software acquistion (SA) process,in turn,is becoming increasifngly complex: e.g.a customer in one poroject now often has to wrk with several suppliers and also with their sub-contractors.
