摘要

Dunhuang Art Cave, one of most world famous cultural heritage sites, is confronted with serious influence of natural destruction. Integrating CG and VR technologies, we can virtually preserve and rebuild the original cave architectures, painting sculptures and murals. This paper will mainly discuss the image based modeling, rendering and shadow generating we have designed, and show the results of our prototype systems. In the end, we will give a brief summary.
