摘要

Hardware/software partitioning is a very important phase in the embedded system codesign. The performance of the embedded system strongly depends on the final result of the hardware/software partitioning. The problem of the hardware/software partitioning is NP complete problem which is intractable for even moderately small problem. In order to obtain satisfactory partitoning alternative, a approach based on genetic algorithm is presented for hardware/software partitoning in this paper, the approach can get good solution for embedded system in timely manner.
