The Need For A Pedagogical Agent

This paper investigates the incorporation of an intelligent pedagogical agent into a learning environment Primarily two aspects are proposed as being of significant importance. The first of these is the monitoring of student interaction within the environment and the second the incorporation of constructivist principles into the learning environment Finally based on these two aspects a model for learning is proposed.
