The significance and method for the set-up of a product failure analysis center in an enterprise

The experience in carrying out thc reliability work in agricultural machinery industry for several years has been summed up and product failure analysis center has been established in enterprise to carry out the systematically analysis on productfailure, put forth the method for improvement, organize the departments concerned to perform the improvement, trial-production and test and apply the achievements into the production so as to reduce the product failure, effectively raise product qualityand reliability, at the same time, put the information of various failures into computer for unified management and providing the reference to the manager, designer and persons in charge of production and maintenance. The working contents for the centersuch as the scope of failures for analysis, failure analysis method, failure analysis by the specialized person, Failure Tree Analysis(FTA) Method, and failure management by computer have been briefly introduced.
