The chair and members of the Posters and Demonstrations committee are pleased to have accepted 27 posters and 7 demonstrations for Digital Libraries '99. A predictably wide range of topics is covered by the accepted submissions: authors and titles are listed below. We ae especially happy that this section of the proceedings confidently highlights the truly international reach of digital-library research: the work reported in these pages is being carried out in 12 different countries (Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, and the USA).
