The synthesis of new high-nitrogen materials based on tetrazine-oxadiazole heterocycles was described. The nuclephilic subsitution reaction of 3,6-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1yl)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (1) and the anionic of 3,4-diaminofurazan (2) which had been prepared by treatment with strong base gave 3,6-bis(3-amino-1,2,5-oxadiazol-4-ylamino)-1,2,4,5-tetrazine (3). 3 reacted with trifluroperacetic acid to obtain the nitration product 3,6-bis(3-nitro-1,2,5oxadiazol-4-ylamino)-1,2,4,5-trterzine (4).
