Critical point theory versus the bidomain model for reentry induction

We simulate cardiac tissue using a. 2-d bidomain model, a planar S1 wave front, and a unipolar S2 stimulus. Figure-8 reentry can develop following break excitation. The direction of rotation of the reentry does not reverse with S2 polarity.
