Structural characterization of nylon 6 composites reinforced with microfibrous calcium silicate hydrate 6CaO*6SiO_2*H_2O, what we call xonotlite, was carried out particularly focused on a dispersion state and aspect ratio of xonotlite in the composites and crystalline structure of the matrix resin. Xonotlite is finely dispersed, and keeps relatively high aspect ratio even in the composite. It also increases crystallinity of nylon 6 in the low loading levels below 10 wt%. All of these are characteristic of this composite.
