This technology is evolving as more and more pharmaceutical and microelectronic users discover the benefits. Minimal gowning, separation of personnel from the product, safety, reduction of utilities and better control of the environment are typical. This past year, we have seen a focus on ground breaking designs, which just a year ago, were not practical. Scale interface, with separate load cells, built-in for the operator, foot controls, to allow the operator to perform production tasks easier to mention a few. We have built a containment/barrier with very unusual capabilities, this will be discussed along with other designs. It can perform positive pressure with VHP capabilities or be set up for negative containment.
