The paper examines the relationship between the increasing sophistication of ceramic production in the Asia Pacific region, and the need for high quality consistent high quality raw materials. The region's traditional small and localised production of ball clays could not offer consistent products, so imports of technically advanced, reliable clays from overseas were WBB Group have made higher quality raw materials, designed for specific applications and sourced from within the region, more readily available and at lower costs.
