The design of a phase I non site-specific centralized interim storage facility

A Topical Safety Ananlysis Report (TSAR) has been developed for a non site-specific federal facility designed to receive and store canistered spent nuclear fuel in transportable storage systems certified by the NRC.This TSAR has been submitted for NRC review to identify and resolve licensing issues so that facility licensing will be simplified when a site is designated.
