PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interim storage facility for a radioactive contaminant capable of safely and efficiently storing a plurality of containers.;SOLUTION: A plurality of containers 12 with radiation shield properties for storing a radioactive contaminant are arranged horizontally and are stacked in a perpendicular direction in a building 11 having a base isolation device 17.
