Physical Properties and the Strength of Coal

摘要

This paper describes some experiments on the physical and mechanical properties of two kinds of coals with different flow properties. The SEM method was used to examine the surface morphology of the coal particles. The moisture content effect on bulk density, tensile strength and unconfined yield strength were tested. The results are discussed in the view of water structure and methods to improve coal flow properties.
