摘要

The development of Internet and WWW provides a new method for the traditional distance instruction. At present, Many distance instructional systems based on WWW have been developed in the world. But most systems have no intelligence, so they can't adapt the learner's individual needs. The problems can be solved by using multi-agent technology. We have finished a model that used agents to meet the systems' need for intelligence. In this paper, we present a model of distance instructional system based on multi-agent. The basic idea is during the teaching and learning, there is none instructional strategy can solve all problems , a superexcellent instructional system should has the ability of choosing instruction strategy and adjusting its micro-strategy according to the learner's individual needs and other factors. Based on this thinking, we use strategy agents and coordination agents to choose instructional strategy from the strategy database, and use tutoring manage agent to adjusting the micro-strategy in the instruction. In our model, We present three types of instructional strategy, they are (ⅰ) The strategy for concept learning; (ⅱ)The strategy for rules and laws learning; (ⅲ)The strategy for problem solving.
