Fatliquoring process are used to obtain softness of leather. Also it was used for leather's touch, color, resistant to wash, water-resistence water proof, and water repellency. In this study, we used anion, cation fatliquors to improve the man- made leathers' softness and mechanical properties. Tear strength, elongation, and softness of leather were increased with increasing the amounts of fatliquors, however their tensile properties were decreased. And artificial leather's crocking was improvled with fatliquors. As a results, we got the high touch and very soft - made leather. It can be explained that fatliquor acts as lubricant in the leather.
