TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURES OF THE VORTEX AND HELICITY ANALYSIS

In this paper, we discuss the topological structures of the vortex filaments and vortex tubes and give an exact solution of a straight spiral vortex tube. We find that there are some confusions about the calculation of the helici-ties of a knotted vortex filament and some linked vortex filaments by using different methods. We explain how to unify these methods and give right results.
