The dynamical behavior of a viscoelastic rectangular plate which is subjected to a transverse harmonic load and lies in a supersonic flow is discussed by using several methods in dynamic systems. Various dynamical properties, such as limit cycle, chaos, strange attractor and unbounded instability etc., are discovered.
