Networking initiatives for R D in Greece

Emerging technologies and applications nowadays require the establishment of high speed networks both local area, MAN and WAN as well as a dvanced Quality of Service. At national level this can be achieved via long term design on the development of networking policy and the coordination and integration of the different R&D initiatives. In this paper we present the most important national projects on advanced networking infrastructures in Greece and their future perspectives.
