Application of Hydraulic Front Shovels at EVTAC Mining

The early experience with hydraulic front shovels at EVTAC Mining has been very positive. Our expectations on mobility, productivity, and mechanical availability have all been met or exceeded. Concerns about the shovel's suitability for taconite mining and operation in winter time have not been realized. The hydraulic shovels fit well with our operating requirements, and will remain our loading tool of choice for the foreseeable future.
