From the invention of the first camera in 1824 and the start of commercial photography in 1839, inventors, scientists, war lords, politicians and even private citizens, had visions of using the camera for spying. Espionage had always been with us. As early as 500 BC, the anicent Chinese strategist, Sun Tzu, worte about the importance of intelligence and spying in his classic book, "The Art of War."
