Studies of low temperature inuminescence of silver halide microcrystals (MC) with adsorbed dyes (Dye) is important to discover the mechanism of spectral sensiti-zation of silver halide emulsions. In this case it is possible to investigate not only processes in the excited molecules and aggregates but also to define electron and hole exchange reactions between excited or ionized Dye and silver halide substance which are the reactions that determine spectral sensitization.
