Haematopoietic tumours, in particular those originating from the lymphatic tissues, are among the most frequently occurring neoplasms in the dog. Because of the increasing possibilities for diagnosis and treatment of cancer and because of the increased demands of the public, these haematopoietic tumours have become of considerable interest to the veterinary profession. This abstract will give an update on the aetiology, the classification, and the biologic behaviour of the malignant lymphomas in thedog.
