Comparative analysis of time domain programs for the evaluation of FPSOs and SPM horizontal plane dynamics

摘要

The present work compares critically two time domain programs that are available for the analysis of ships on a Single Point Mooring (SPM). The emphasis is given on the respone in waves. Examples with actual ships under interest by PETROBRAS indicate that both software may be useful.
