PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate an eigen value showing dynamic characteristics of a system and an eigen vector while securing stability and a convergence property of calculation by using an earthquake observation record, a microtremor observation record or a vibration test record of an object system, etc.;SOLUTION: A mode analysis technique of a time domain has accurate and stable means of a convergence operation for expressing a true value of an observation record of a system by a solution of an equation of motion on the assumption that an object system follows the equation of motion, and calculating an eigen value in nonlinear relation to the solution by using an equation linearized for a minute correction amount, and calculating an eigen vector in linear relation to the solution by using the solution of the equation of motion as regression equations, respectively, creating a normal equation according to the least square method, and solving the normal equation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
