The ship electrical drawing CAD based on PROTEL 4.1 working platform

摘要

This paper explains the process of developing varities of components and parts used in ship electrical design drawing, establishing the bank of component graphs and drawing the major blueprints of the ship electrical design by means of the software, PROTEL 4.1 which is characterized on the built-in Chinese processing, man-machine interface and an advanced and powerful drawing function with high manoeuverability. The quality level of the drawings by hand, but it is much faster than that of the drawings done by hand. Meanwhile it is able to meet the requirements of the national standardization and CCS and be in line with ship electrical designing practices.
