Temperature dependent dimensionality of flux dynamics in the superconducting YBCO/PYBCO superlattice

Angular dependence of critical current densities J_c(θ) for YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-y)/ Pr_(0.5)Y_(0.5)Ba_2Cu_3O_(7-y)(48A/24A) * 20 at t = 0.65 and 0.92 under various applied magnetic fields H were measured to investigate the influence of temperature on the dimensionality of flux dynamics, where t(=T/T_(c,zero)) is the reduced temperature. It is found that the J_c(θ) curves at t = 0.65 exhibit a 2D behavior up to H = 5 T, however, the Jo(9) curves at t = 0.92 deviate a 2D behavior. It is believed that the temperature dependent coupling strength along the c-axis direction in superconducting YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-y) layers is crucial for the deviation. The details will be discussed.
