摘要

We have computed magnetisation losses of HTS conductors having different twist-pitch lengths. The computation is based on Maxwell's equations and a non-linear constitutive relation between the current density and the electric field. The computational approach allows us to take into account matrix resistivity, twist-pitch length and the gradual resistive transition of a real composite conductor. The losses are studied as a function of the ramp rate of the external flux density in the longitudinal midsection of a superconducting composite tape.
