Critical condition to eliminate interference of buckets of the rotary automatic garage

This paper discusses critical phases in which adjacent buckets of the rotary automatic garage with cantilever may produce interference during cyclical motion. It analyses critical points of adjacent buckets in critical phases according to two states. It puts forward necessary condition to eliminate interference of adjacent buckets in semicircle phases and establishes appropriate condition formulas. It deduces calculating formulas to determine dimensions of chain wheel and cantilever with given sizes of buckets and gives a practical calculating example. This research provides a simple and valid way for determining main sizes of rotary automatic garage with cantilever.
