Study of push-out micromechanical test: Response of SCS-6/Ti-6242 composite

Push-out tests were performed on SiC/Ti-6242 composite, with samples of variable thickness and fibre volume fraction. Experimental results show two distinct decohesion types. To understand those behaviours, a finite element analysis was developed, to model the stress field along the interface.
