I will present a generalisation to identical multi-boson states of an earlier model1, for the Bose-Einstein correlations, which are inherent in a quantum-mechanical interpretation of the Lund Fragmentation Model. The resulting formulas are for simplicity applied to a toy model, only containing three (charged) boson species ("the pions") and one non-bosonic hadron. (There is now a computer program in C++, available on request from Markus Ringner, which may be used to obtain the general results from the Lund Model as implemented by JETSBT). The resulting predictions imply a difference for the ir° correlations (two ir°'s can be produced as neighbours in rank) compared to the charged ir*, which cannot be neighbours in rank. The model also exhibits irregularities in small rapidity bins.of the kind which has been termed "intermittency".
