The aim of this research is to analyze the vibrations generated by the presence of the phenomenon of corrugation in a high speed railway track. To reach this objective, a track and vehicle model has been implemented by means of finite element modeling. This model has been calibrated and validated with real data in the time domain. Different types of corrugation which may appear in a high speed railroad are then simulated in the available model. The vibrational effect of these types of corrugation are then analyzed and compared. The accelerations transmitted to different elements of the track and to the sprung masses of the vehicle are also evaluated.
