摘要

A pigtailed thermo-optic (TO) (4×4)-space stage designed for λ = 1.55 μm is reported, which is implemented in polymer waveguide technology. The space stage contains a rearrangeable nonblocking polymer waveguide (4×4)-switching module which is pigtailed with fibre arrays and packaged. The space stage is microprocessor controlled and can be employed as the space stage of a transparent OFDM cross connect.
