摘要

Catalytic action of packings made of porous silica and of quartz glass grains was examined under silent discharges conditions in ozonizer with metal and glass electrodes. The effect of the discharge gap width and of grain size (within a range of 0.16 - 0.8 mm) was studied and the optimum gap width was found near 0.8 mm.. Silica packing was found more effective than quartz glass and coarser grains generally more effective than the smaller ones.
