The automotive electroluminescent dashboard displays applied for the data transmission to the driver may be controlled by optoelectronic logical-circuits which are practically insensitive to electromagnetic interference (EMI). The most interesting ones are the memory cells which contain two photoconducting (PC) and two electroluminescent (EL) units. Between single EL unit and single PC unit an optical feedback can be provided so that these two units constituted a bi-stable system. In aPC{sub}1EL{sub}1 system with optical feedback the aging process results above all in the decrease of the value of feedback coefficient. If this coefficient will attain too lower value, then the whole system will not fulfil the role of optoelectronicmemory element.
