摘要

The use of 14 MeV neutron generators provides several strong advantages over spallation sources. This study aims at better defining the domain of applicability of this kind of facility for SEE characterization. Based on experiments using 14 MeV neutrons and white neutron beams on multiple devices (SRAM, SDRAM, FPGA), the irradiation data are then confronted with an analysis of the neutron nuclear recoils for the various ranges of energies. Finally, a simplified model is proposed to extrapolate 14 MeV neutron data to atmospheric environments.
