An ozone generator operated with fast rising voltages

An ozone generator utilizing fast-rising square-wave votages has b een constructed, using a rotating spark-ga-switch. Square wave voltages were generated with th peak value of 5-ukV, rising time of 20ns and fequuency of 700Hz. This ozone generator has enamel coated Aluminum plate type electrodes. These electrodes have the heat sink function, and are efficiently cooled. At a n ozone concentration of 40,000ppm, the energy yield of ozone generation of more than 100g/kWh has been obtained.
